Welcome to Day 2 of FASTING FOR YOUR BREAKTHROUGH!
How did your first day of fasting go?
I truly hope you had a great day of pressing into God for your breakthrough!! If, however, you found it to be tough and/or felt like hell was breaking loose against you, take heart!... your fasting is causing a stirring in the supernatural realm because this battle is not a natural one, but a supernatural one.
"For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12) NLT.
And there's absolutely nothing to be afraid of or worried about, it just means you're exactly where you should be, and doing exactly what you should be doing right now. So keep going because He's got you!
I also want to take this time to remind you that, as believers, one of our greatest weapons - along with fasting and prayer - is to take communion. This representation of Jesus's blood that was shed for us represents our eternal covenant with God. “This is My (Jesus) blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sin.” (Matthew 26:28).
Make communion your weapon today. Ask God to reveal any sin/s that you may need to repent of. Ask Him for forgiveness, then lay it all down at His feet. Rest in His embrace. Thank Him for cleansing you and for preparing you to receive the breakthrough He has for you!
A prayer for today -
"Heavenly Father. Thank You for your wonderful and amazing love that draws me closer to You! Jesus, thank You for dying a terrible death so that I may live a victorious life! Holy Spirit, thank You for leading and guiding me into the arms of my Abba Daddy where I am safe, and protected, and loved, forevermore. Reveal more of Your truths to my heart today so that my expectancy for miracles would increase, according to Your perfect plans and purposes for me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen!"
